i've been reading all this bullshit the GOP is trying to pull against women, and i've been enraged. are you fucking kidding me?! at least DOMA was declared unconstitutional by the attorney general. not repealed, mind you, just declared wrong.
eric has always echoed george carlin in debates about abortion and the 'sanctity of life.' "they want to protect the fetus until its out of the womb, then they don't give a fuck about it." and its true. republicans want to slash the shit out of funding for everything from WIC to care for the elderly, but god forbid someone gets a fucking abortion. its so backwards i can't even keep my temper about it.
moko wants to go to the planned parenthood rally on saturday. i want to wear a nice ostentatious pro-choice tshirt tight over the preggo belly. pro-life people get all "just wait until you are pregnant and want to keep it, you'll change your mind!" fuck no, i didn't! this was my choice, i chose to be pregnant and stay pregnant. "your mother was pro-life!" my mother is not and to my knowledge has never been pro-life! she CHOSE to not have an abortion, just like people choose to go through with an abortion. THUS PRO-CHOICE! its not pro-death! good lord, these people are fucking stupid...
a friend of mine used to work for an anti-death-penalty group. they would go to right to life conventions, because they fall into the same catagory apparently, and they would be treated horribly by the anti-abortion folks. wait, aren't we in the same boat? aren't we both trying to stop legal killing? apparently not. apparently the people who want to save a fetus want to kill it once it commits a crime, and the people who want to stop that killing are ok with stopping the birth in the first place. interesting juxtaposition, no?
the GOP needs to make up their fucking mind. do you or don't you want big government? because for all the whining you do about how intrusive president obama is making government, you know, making sure everybody has health care and all, you certainly want to regulate the shit out of people's personal lives.
if you don't think abortion is right, don't get a fucking abortion. its that simple. keep the law out of it.

It enrages, me too. These fools runs on the jobs jobs jobs ticket and all they are doing now is trying to redefine rape. So, not only are you pregnant, but you are also a welfare queen according to your lard ass gov. I may go to a local rally to support the WI worked and protect collective bargaining rights.
