just finished the 4th harry potter book. looooved it!!! i don't know what i was thinking when i thought one book could last me all of spring break. this just gives me time to read other things, though. and perhaps catch up on my writing. my brain has been so scrambled lately i haven't written anything in weeks.
the crazy old man who lives up the road is talking to our neighbor across the street. i wonder if he's going on about how puerto ricans are taking over our neighborhood again. i'm sure my poor neighbor just wants to get his yard work done without being bothered by a loony on an electric scooter.
peaches is sleeping in her bed underneath one of the wingchairs, snoring away. toshi is curled up near me on the couch. at some point i have to actually get off the couch and unload the back of my car. its filled with stuff from eric's mom's house, which will all go into the garage for the time being.
i'm happy being home spending time with my cats. they really do make me happy, in all their furry purring glory. as if he knew i was typing about him, toshi murred, got up, and curled himself as close to me as he could possibly get, purring softly, his head resting on the edge of the laptop.
and there is the blankness that's been plaguing me... my mind has gone blank... i have nothing to say...
